Good vibrations taken to the limit

Eastbourne’s bumper season of Bandstand tribute concerts is throwing out serious summer vibes in June starting on Friday (June 3) when The Beached Boys pay homage to the original creators of the Cali-surfing soundtrack, The Beach Boys.

Be transported back to 1960’s surfing and long hot sunny days - this concert from one of the best Beach Boys tribute bands on the circuit allows audiences to do just that.

The Beached Boys magically capture the essence of The Beach Boys, providing entertainment and perfect vocal harmonies accompanied by a tight mix of two guitars, bass, drums and keyboard to re-create those surfin’ safari sounds with hits such as I Get Around, Barbara Ann and Surfin’ U.S.A.

This season’s line-up continues with a tribute to The Four Seasons, along with Frankie Valli, when The Ragdolls recreate the iconic sound of one of the most famous pop-rock bands to come out of 1960’s America.

On Friday June 10, The Ragdolls will take audiences on a musical journey of the best hits such as Still of the Night, Teenager in Love and Why Do Fools Fall in Love, and best-loved classics Sherry, Walk Like a Man, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You and more.

Playing tribute to The Eagles and the founding member of the band, the late Glenn Frey, The Alter Eagles take to the Bandstand stage on Saturday June 11 to perform a repertoire of hits from the band’s phenomenal career in country-rock music.

This experienced tribute act has been on the circuit for over a decade and are experts in re-enacting the Eagles’ trademark duelling electric guitars, along with uncanny vocals and full harmonies. With the set spanning over 35 years of The Eagles career, visitors to the Bandstand can rock out to the band’s most famous hits from Hotel California, Life in the Fast Lane to Take it Easy and Desperado, in a 90 minute set.
