They’re performers who always pull in a crowd. So make sure you get to the Under Ground Theatre nice and early on June 8 when musical duo R’n’R will be providing the entertainment at the UGT’s weekly coffee morning.
The show lasts from 10am until noon, and, as ever, entry is free.
The madcap Richard Walder (tea–chest bass), and the magnificent Ron Turner (guitar) will again be delighting the audience with a repertoire that never seems to stop expanding.
There’ll definitely be some country music and some classic hits, mainly from the sixties and seventies: in their words, “songs too good to forget”. Hence you can expect to hear the likes of Carole King’s “Will You Love Me Tomorrow?”, Tom Paxton’s “Last Thing On My Mind”.
