The ever-popular band UB40 comes to the Congress Theatre on Wednesday, May 20, as part of their eagerly-anticipated Getting Over The Storm UK tour.

One of the most successful reggae bands in the UK, UB40 formed in 1978 and have since sold more than 100 million records and had more than 40 hits in the UK singles charts including Red Red Wine, Can’t Help Falling In Love and a cover version of I Got You Babe. Their debut album Signing Off, released in 1980, was widely considered one of the greatest reggae albums ever released by a British band.

UB40’s line-up include Duncan Campbell (co-lead vocals); Robin Campbell (co-lead vocals, guitar); Earl Falconer (bass, vocals); Brian Travers (sax and keys);Jimmy Brown (drums); Norman Hassan (percussion, vocals); Martin Meredith (sax) and Lawrence Parry (sax).
