AMERICANA, country-rock – and much, much more! That’s what’s in store at the Under Ground Theatre on Saturday, July 23 when Kent-based group Butt Of Lewis provide the entertainment at the theatre’s weekly coffee-morning.
They’ll be on stage from 10am tol noon, apart from a short break. Y
ou’ll be hearing some of their own compositions as well as songs that will be forever associated with a whole range of composers and performers, from Bruce Springsteen to George Gershwin, from Bob Dylan to the Everly Brothers.
John Edwards will be sharing vocals and guitar - with Sharon Malyan (also a flautist and percussionist) and Alan Lester Munday (a dab hand, too, on the mandolin).
Robin Malyan is responsible for bass guitar, double bass and keyboard.
