Next month (October 7) the Lamb Folk Club welcomes Bob Hall and Hilary Blythe.
Critically acknowledged as Britain’s finest blues and boogie pianist, Bob’s extraordinary career dates from the blues explosion of the sixties as a founder member of the Groundhogs.
He has since worked with numerous blues legends including Peter Green, Chuck Berry and John Lee Hooker.
Long-time partner Hilary adds propulsive bass and terrific folk, blues and gospel vocals.
Admission is £6.
The Lamb Folk Club meets on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, upstairs in The Lamb Inn in Eastbourne Old Town. It’s a popular night and features a wide range of professional folk singers. Doors open at 7.30pm with an 8.00pm start.
