UNDERGROUND Productions will be performing a new comedy by Holly Hartle called Centre of the Universe from May 12-14 (7.30pm) at Hampden Park Community Hall.
These three one-act comedies, poke fun at political correctness gone mad, the nature of bureaucracy and seaside town cosiness.
They are all connected by one key character, Jeremy Label, who is determined to turn the town of Westsea into the Centre of the Universe despite being hampered by a motley crew (or so he sees them) of toilet attendants, bank robbers, committee members. Jeremy’s enthusiasm has consequences for the town and his own career.
Tickets cost £5, or £3 concessions, on the door or book by calling Dee on 412357.
