THE INTRIGUING world of the stand-up comic is the subject of a new comedy play, My Dog’s Got No Nose, which comes to the Devonshire Park Theatre from July 7-9.
Laughter and tears take centre stage as the audience share a dressing room with a would-be comedian ahead of his first-ever public performance.
It has been his lifelong dream to stand on a stage and entertain audiences but now his debut is here, he is experiencing some pre-show nerves. Before picking up his microphone and venturing into the limelight, he regales stories and tales about his life and experiences.
My Dog’s Got No Nose stars Damian Williams (Comic host of Sky One’s ‘Are You Smarter Than Your Ten Year Old?’) in the lead role.
Evening performances are at 7.45pm with a 2.30pm Saturday matinee at. Tickets from £13.50-£19.50, call 412000.
