A critically acclaimed play about the early life of literary giant D.H. Lawrence comes to the Devonshire Park Theatre on Wednesday November 4 for two performances.

Phoenix Rising D.H Lawrence son and Lover marks the 130th anniversary of Lawrence’s birth with Paul Slack reprising his critically acclaimed performance as the author of Lady Chatterley’s Lover and Sons and Lovers. Paul has extensive film and television credits and theatre work includes leading roles in the RSC, National Theatre, Donmar Warehouse, the Royal Court, Hampstead Theatre and many of the UK’s major repertory theatres.
