Well-known local landscapes and views including Eastbourne Pier will be on display when award-winning artist Barry Wilson and photographer Jonathan Webley team up for a one day exhibition at All Saint’s Chapel this month.
One Day Only, on Saturday November 14, will showcase local scenery, including the seafront and South Downs, and be the first time any of the works have gone on public display.
A widely exhibited graduate of Camberwell School of Art, Barry Wilson divides his time between the south coast and London. His work has been exhibited in major museums and galleries worldwide and he won the Saatchi prize in 2011. Eastbourne-based photographer Jonathan Webley specialises in portraying unusual aspects of the seafront and South Downs, often at first light.
The exhibition at All Saint’s Chapel, Darley Road, is open 11-5pm and admission is free.
