ALL SAINTS Chapel in Meads is hosting Eastbourne Acoustic Festival on Sunday (September 30).
The day, at the Darley Road site, runs from 11am-5pm, with music, workshops and exhibitions.
Throughout the afternoon there will be three 45-minute workshops from Terry Lees (noon-12.45pm), Tim Quanstrom (1.45pm-2.30pm) and Jacob Szulecki (3.30pm-4.15pm).
They will be covering different styles in each session ranging from traditional and blues, basic to extended harmonic techniques to modern percussive styles – and guitar fans are encouraged to bring their instruments along.
An evening concert takes place at 7.30pm showcasing solos and duets from the afternoon tutors and guests.
Tickets will be available on the door for places in the afternoon workshops and the evening concert, but pre-booking is encouraged.
Call Martha’s Kitchen on 732362. The concert costs £15, a place on all three workshops costs £10.
