Local bands needed for Extreme festival

Local bands could scoop the chance to play a 30-minute slot at this year’s Eastbourne Extreme festival (July 13-14). Eastbourne Borough Council has teamed up with Sound and Motion Magazine to put together a weekend of music featuring some of the best acts the region has to offer.

In total 16 acts will be needed so organisers are inviting bands to submit one of their finest tracks to Sound and Motion’s soundcloud account for a chance to perform at an event that attracts thousands of visitors each year.

Bands must be available on July 13 and 14. They must have enough material to fill a 30-minute slot and must be willing to edit material to be family friendly.

The final selections, and the way in which winners will be chosen will be announced in the near future. For now entrants can submit their music and carry on practising.
