THREE foxes rescued in Eastbourne on Friday are being hand-reared.
Rocky, Cookie and Fudge – named after Foxes Biscuits' products – were found in Langney after builders disturbed their den.

On both Friday night and Saturday night, volunteers from East Sussex Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance Service (WRAS) waited close to where the cubs were found in the hope that they could encourage the mother fox to take them back.

Boss of the charity, Trevor Weeks, managed to find the mother – a young fox – but she did not respond to his efforts to re-unite her with her babies.

The babies are therefore being cared for by WRAS volunteer Monica Russell at her home in Eastbourne. The cubs need feeding every three hours so Monica is taking them to work with her – to a hairdressers in Hailsham.
