Matt and Reece make a splash
Matt Tyler and Reece Bishop
The Atlantis Open Meet, held recently in Horsham, proved to be a resounding success for the boys of Eastbourne Swimming Club.
Leading all the way in the 100m backstroke Matt Tyler took an easy first place and then followed this up with silver in both the 50m and 200m events.
Team mate Reece Bishop proved he’s definitely a freestyler when he led the field in his 200m race touching in gold medal position and taking silver in the 400m and 100m.
Not to be out done, Sean Wright gave an outstanding performance in the 200m breaststroke finishing in first and then taking second in his 100m race.
Eastbourne girls also had some great results and really showed their skill in the backstroke events with Lauren Goldsmith going home more than just a little happy with nearly three second PBs in the 100m and 200m events.
Thivya Kularajan taking second in the 50m event and team mate Charlotte Shooter-Harris achieving two bronze medals for her 50m and 100m races.
