Junior tennis player Tom hits the final in debut tournament

Hailsham Tennis Club’s young star Tom Large, competed in a Mini Red junior tournament at Cross-in-Hand.

He played seven matches on his way to the final and only lost once. He came up against the boy who beat him in the round robin in the final of the tournament.

Tom went 4-1 down but he managed to turn the match around and had his own championship point.

Unfortunately, he lost that final, but at seven-years-old, and this being only his second tournament, many feel Tom has a bright future in the sport.
