Fanning the flames of cricket talent

Flame Academy Sports Coaching managed to run their cricket camp at the memorial ground nets in Eastbourne last week, despite the typical English summer weather.

The camp involved juniors aged 6-14 and was well supported by the local cricketing stars of the future.

All participants were given a free t-shirt and are looking forward to the summer holidays to hone their skills at the next one.

Head Coach Richard Abson-Bennett said, “We managed to get some important time with the boys and girls and hopefully instil a bit of knowledge in them. The cricketing talent in this area in remarkable.”

Flames have also recruited the services of young West Indies hopeful Kevin Ramsay.
