It was a day to forget for Willingdon’s first team as the worst batting display in their history saw them go down by nine wickets away to Ringmer.
The entire Willingdon order were dismissed with just 38 runs on the board – nearly half of which were recorded by Michael Krause.
Ringmer eclipsed the total in just 7.4 overs with the loss of a single wicket to seal the convincing victory.
On a wet pitch, skipper Michael Trewin was adjudged to have been caught behind on the second ball of the innings.
The Dons found themselves 12-5 in just the eighth over of the match and apart from 18 by Krause, no other batsman managed over six.
Their misery was ended in the 17th over as the last wicket was knocked off, ending a frankly awful performance from the Dons, who now find themselves back in the relegation zone.
Ringmer surpassed the total with ease.
