Tait disappointed at transfer listing

Allan Tait admits he is disappointed at the propect of leaving Priory Lane but believes he will be left with little option after a 'difference of opinion' with boss Garry Wilson.

Tait was left out of the squad to face Woking on Saturday and placed on the transfer list after he was hauled off against Barrow last week.

The ex-Crawley hitman said, "The Barrow game was the final straw for me. I thought I played well but he (Wilson) obviously had other ideas.

"The stats show I'm always the one to come off after 70 minutes and I have had enough of that. I have had numerous discussions with Garry this season and it was clear things were not working out.

"The manager has shown faith in certain players but I don't feel I get that from him and if that's the case there's no point in hanging around."

Tait, who has received criticism from sections of the crowd after netting just two league goals this year, added, "When I was getting stick from the crowd Garry came out and told the fans to back off and then the next game I was dropped. I thought that was a slap in face.

"There have been a few disagreements and it all came to a head after the Barrow game."

Tait is thought to be in discussions with British Gas Premier table toppers Farnborough.
