Cadet trio enhance Eastbourne’s reputation
EASTBOURNE performed excellently to achieve runners-up in the National Cadet League (South East Region) in their first season at cadet level (under 14s).
The team consisted of William Goodstone, Ryan Gregory and Tyrone Bruce who all play for Cavendish Table Tennis Club and have become winners (Cavendish D) and runners-up (Cavendish E) in the Eastbourne Table Tennis League Division 6.
ETTL Junior Organiser Will Holt commented “It was a great achievement for the boys who have improved massively over the last 18 months and will continue to do so.
“Eastbourne’s reputation has been getting more noticed over recent years for producing juniors with great potential and after Eastbourne won the National Junior League (South East) last year out of six teams, the boys coming second out of ten sides was just as good an achievement and next year they will be looking to go one better”.
