Tonight’s trip to Swindon postponed

Eastbourne Eagles’ weather frustrated sequence of travelling fixtures continues as their scheduled visit to Swindon tonight is the third in succession to fall victim to the unceasing elements.

The meeting was subject to an early postponement by the Robin’s management due to a waterlogged track.

Eastbourne’s previous two away trips to Peterborough and Belle Vue were also called off after prolonged spells of heavy rain.

No new date has yet been determined for the restaging.
