Marler goes shark diving to prepare for England debut in South Africa

Eastbourne’s Joe Marler is expected make his full England debut against South Africa at Kings Park in Durban on Saturday.
Marler a 21-year-old loose-head prop who plays for Harlequins will be thrust into the heat of battle in what is set to be ferociously contested physical encounter.
Marler prepared for his big day by going cage diving with Great White sharks off the coast of Durban on Wednesday.
A first England cap for the former Sussex Downs student is reward for a fine season with the Quins.
This year he has shown greater maturity and was a key player as his club side won the Aviva Premiership title.
Marler has been involved in the international set-up for two years.
He was first called to the senior squad for the 2010 autumn internationals as injury cover having represented EnglandU20 at the previous year’s junior World Cup.
The inclusion of Marler into Stuart Lancaster’s side for Saturday was prompted by Alex Corbisiero’s continued recovery from a bicep operation.
