Godin is Rugby Club coach of the year

Eastbourne Rugby Club Under-14 coach Simon Godin has been awarded Coach of the Year.

Simon (pictured) has strengthened and installed great character into the U14 squad during a very tough and hard-fought season.

Simon was presented with the Gerry Thompsett Memorial Award and was presented the shield in front of his team and the parents by vice chairman Steve Snell.

A club statement read, “Simon is an ambassador for the club and arranges coaching sessions at local schools such as Willingdon and Eastbourne Academy.”
