LangNey Sports Club saw the season finale and presentations for the Eastbourne Ladies Darts League.
The league placings for all divisions were very close right up until the last matches.
The RAFA ladies overtook the Arlington Arrows team to take the top spot in Division one. In Division two, the Railway Belles triumphed with Angling Club C taking runners up. Division three saw Kingfisher Birds run away with the title, winning all of their 12 matches.
The next four teams, however, all finished on the same points in a very close fought battle but EWMC A team took second place after finishing with the best leg aggregate.
The other triumphant EWMC team, the Worker Bees, were winners of divisionfour and Eastbourne United B team picked up the runners up place.
Highest start of 160 went to Donna Callendar, highest finish 112 to Karen Packer, 180 trophies went to Laraine Winburn, and also to Sandra Harris, who scored two.
The Team Fours winners were Red Lion and Runners Up were Angling B.
Mother and Daughter pairing Anita Coleman and Jenny Holden from the Arlington won the captain/vice captain cup and were runners up in the Ladies pairs, just losing 2-1 to Claire Birch and Lisa Wilding from the Arlington Arrows.
They made it a family affair with husband Jim Coleman in the Mixed triples final where they were victorious against Roy and Mel Lindfield and Hannah Stredwick from the Railway Belles. The Mixed Pairs final was between Andy Thrower and his mum Jan Thrower from the Arlington, and Claire King and Dan Pugh from the Kingfisher.
As always, the highlight of the evening was the ladies singles final between Teresa Weir (Red Lion) and Kelly Ryan ( Kingfisher) where Kelly took the match 3-0 earning her the title.
A successful and enjoyable night it turned out to be for the players and their families and friends.
