Woolston to kick start ladies only karate

Ladies will get the chance to hone their karate skills in a new ladies only class starting in May.

Black belt Sally Woolston, has been practicing the martial art for 18 years and teaching for 14.

The classes are open to ladies of all ages and abilities and will be held at Langney Community Centre on May 7 from 11am to 12 noon.

Sally said, “The lesson will be fun and lighthearted and is a chance for ladies to come along who might find a mixed class slightly intimidating. We will be teaching self defence and life protection skills and everyone who comes along can take their belts as they improve their skills.
