Eastbourne cricketer Ollie Rayner believes he can kick-start his career by being part of a ‘young and talented’ Middlesex outfit.

The 24-year-old allrounder was forced to leave his home county club of Sussex last season as regular first team cricket became limited.

After signing a three-year deal with Middlesex a delighted Rayner said, “They offered me a great opportunity and I like the dynamics of the club and feel there is a place there for me to fill and grow in to.

“Being part of a young, talented and successful side is an exciting prospect for me and I am really looking forward to the challenge.”
