K2 Crawley is expecting tickets to soon sell out for the upcoming Heritage Oil Cup table tennis tournament this weekend, July 4-5.
The Heritage Oil Cup is the highest prize money table tennis event in the UK and attracts some of the world’s best players.
Most of the world-class standard tournaments are held abroad meaning some of the best British talent is rarely seen in action on home soil.
This year the Heritage Oil Cup will see the top 10 British men and top 10 British women compete against each other and also against the top 10 men and women from overseas.
A particular highlight for table tennis fans will be to see England players Paul Drinkhall and Liam Pitchford in action and up close.
Nyssa Jackson who is centre manager at K2 for operators Freedom Leisure said: “Table tennis is a great sport for young and old and we have a lot of players here at K2.
