Hailsham Harriers saw some good results at three road races held at Rye, Bexhill and Eastbourne.
At the village of Peasemarsh, a Sussex Grand Prix event over 10 miles of country lanes was organised by Nice Work.
More than 200 runners took over the village with local runner Jeff Pyrah from Hastings AC winning in 56m22s.
New Harrier Paul Boyland had a great finish in 1hr 7m33s to gain 18th place.

Meanwhile, the first of the Bexhill summer series saw eight Hailsham runners take on the seafront 5k race.
It was won by Hastings AC Ross Skelton in 16m10s.
But first home for Harriers with a welcome return was Sam Alvarez 20th and 4th lady in 19m52s. Juliette Sukoco was 30th and 5th lady in 20m33s.
Other positions and times were 36th Huw Jones 20m57s, 67th Frances Delves (first in her age category) 23m44s, 70th Richard Tickner 23m45s, 78th Lucy Wright 24m28s, 92nd Alan Roberts 26m01s, 93rd Helen Tickner 26m09s.
At the new Eastbourne 5k run, Lucy wright clocked 23m03s for 44th place and Mark Bassett 23m44s for 47th.
