Eastbourne Speedway is looking for a new main sponsor for the 2015 season. The club will begin a new era next spring when they go to tapes in the sport’s National League.

The Eagles have dropped down from the Elite League to cut costs after a poor season financially in 2014.

Club commercial manager, Connor Dugard, said: “We thank Lifestyle Europe for their wonderful support over recent years. It has been an excellent relationship but the company has decided not to renew for the coming year.”

Peter Isted, managing director of Lifestyle, thanked Eastbourne for the opportunity to be involved, adding: “The sponsorship that we were involved in was beneficial to us and I enjoyed the dealings with all at Eastbourne.” He wished the Eagles “all the best” and promised to pop into Arlington from time to time to see the racing.

Dugard said there was now an opportunity for a new company to step in and reap the benefits of supporting Eastbourne Speedway. A new main sponsor’s name will be incorporated into the club title, appear prominently on the website and other publicity material, feature in the programme and at the stadium, where they can take up marketing opportunities, if desired.

“It’s a new era, a new team and I am sure we’ll be unearthing some new heroes to set the terraces buzzing. This is a great opportunity to be in at the ground floor,” Dugard said.

Email Connor.Dugard@Dugard.com to register your interest and for associate and other sponsorship opportunities. The club is not planning to release any more team news until after the National League annual general meeting.
