Hailsham MI C head the division one Eastbourne and District snooker league following an emphatic 4-1 home victory against Glastonbury F on the second week of play.
Robin Thomas the HMI C skipper got his team off to a great start with a 76-14 win over the Glastonbury F skipper Andy Simpson. Ash Bull kept up the winning start with a 78-35 win against Hamish Hogg. Lee Matthews for the HMI C found Mike Goodwin to hot to handle and lost 66-38. Pete Watson defeated Ian Hunt 53-3; Matt Barnes was in potting form clearing the last few reds and all the colours for a 52 break in his 90-9 win over Barry Harding.
Champions Glastonbury B came away with a 3-2 victory at Polegate Legion.
While Glastonbury C entertained six time champions Dolphin A, in a close contest the Dolphin a team recorded, a 3-2 away victory.
In division two Hailsham MI B took over the top position following their 4-1 away win against Transport.
Dean Goodall, Darren Jeffrey, Barry Kent & Hugh Galt secured the winning frames for the visitors
Paul Betts took the solitary busboys home point defeating Clive Kidman in the third frame 54-33
Bollards dropped down into second position following a 3-2 away loss at Hellingly.
Bollards took the opening two frames via the cues of Mike Ashcroft and Alan Mills.
Hellingly responded with the last three frames from Steve Medhurst, Andy Lawrence & Nigel Greenham.
