The Eastbourne Aviva Startrack athletic course was a huge success this year – with athletes very enthusiastic after watching the Olympics.

Coaches and senior athletes from Eastbourne Rovers Athletic club put the younger athletes through their paces with relays, hurdles and pole vault, again proving to be the favourite events.

The athletes worked towards the UK Athletics Senior and Primary ladder of success, and on the last day, Dr Nick Webborn gave up his time to come and present the certificates.

He also brought along his Olympic Torch and other memorabilia for the athletes to see.

Bronze Awards went to - Gregory East, Dylan Halpin, Harry Tait, Harry Hughes, Harriet Farrington, Georgia Landy, Abigail Hughes, Rosie Bell, Jade Hatcher, and Phoebe King.
