Eastbourne Eagles return to the Arlington Stadium tomorrow (Saturday) in the second part of a double-header with title rivals Kings Lynn, and boss Trevor Geer is adamant that his side must make full use of their home advantage.
He said, “It’s an absolute must to win your home games. Away from home we take what we’re given but we have to be positive here at the Arlington and look to win every meeting.
“We do have realistic ambitions of winning the Elite League this year, and if we want to do that then we have to beat the top teams like Kings Lynn when they come here.
“They’re a vastly experienced side who have signed some good people this season and they pose a real threat to us on Saturday night if we’re not at our best.”
Eastbourne go into this crucial meeting without the experienced Lukas Dryml, Joonas Klymakorpi and Simon Gustafsson, but Geer still thinks his side are strong enough to win.
