Eastbourne’s Kellie Larkin was selected to play for England Under-17 UEFA Girls’ football tournament in Madrid.
Kellie, of Willingdon Community School, Kellie proudly wore the England number three shirt for the very first time.
Kellie was on the pitch for two full games against Turkey and Spain plus 20 minutes of the match against France. A 2-0 win against Turkey was a fabulous end to her two weeks with the England squad.
Kellie said, “I felt so proud to be England and Brighton and Hove Albion. Singing the national anthem was a feeling I don’t think I can explain.”
Kellie also plays for Brighton & Hove Albion U17 Centre of Excellence. The year will culminate with the U17 European Finals hosted in England.
