WATER sport enthusiasts are being invited to go and try a range of personal water craft activities to celebrate the inaugural visit of the P1 AquaX Championship to Eastbourne this weekend.
Series Sponsors Sea-Doo will be based in the AquaX paddock at the Sovereign Centre and say local enthusiasts are welcome to come along and sign up to ride one of its demo fleet craft under the watchful eyes of a RYA instructor.
It gives people the chance to try out a Sea-Doo ski exactly like those used in the Sea-Doo challenge.
Furthermore, training sessions on Friday will hand fans the opportunity to join the series and race at the remaining rounds that will take place along the south coast.
For those wishing to stay dry, the extreme water sport will be on display at the Eastbourne Extreme festival this Saturday and Sunday.
Audiences will be treated to round three of the P1 AquaX Championship, or the Grand Prix of the Sea, as it’s known.
After the qualifying round, there will be two races available to watch in awe – the first starting at 2.50pm on Saturday and the second commencing at 1.30pm the following day, due to be followed by the podium ceremony at 3pm.
And there’s more – AquaX Freestyler Jack Moule will be thrilling the crowds with his stunning tricks and flips along the beach adjacent to the Sovereign Centre from 12.30pm on both days.
