Edge are third best in Britain

Eastbourne Edge U13 and U19 took third and fourth place respectively at the National in line Skate Hockey Championships.

The U13 missed out on the final and qualification for the European Championships as they finished third. they recorded two wins and two exciting draws and the only game they lost was to Stanstead Spitfires, the eventual winners.

The U19 finished fourth, missing third spot by one goal and finishing with a fantastic 3–1 win against the London and East England Champions, London Street Warriors.

With only one penalty infringement in the whole tournament the U19 were awarded the Fair Play Award and netminder Dan Mattock was recognised by the coaches by being voted on to the U19 National Dream Team.
