Eastbourne Eagles rider Lukas Dryml looked in tip top condition during a practice session at Arlington on Monday.
The Czech rider was at full-throttle as he completed 30 laps on the shale and proved to the Eagles management he is ready for the new season after breaking his femur at Birmingham in July last year.
Dryml is fully recovered after recuperating on the ski slopes and a Thai holiday during the winter. He will race in 2012 with a metal plate in his leg and Eagles team boss Trevor Geer is delighted his star man is fit to start his fourth season at the club.
Geer said, “He did between 20 and 30 laps and was really on it.
“I wanted to see what Lukas looked like after his injury and I was very impressed.”
Fans are welcome to attend the Eagles press and practice day at Arlington Stadium tomorrow (Saturday).
The Eagles begin their Elite League campaign against Belle Vue on Saturday, March 24.
