Runners from Hailsham Harriers Athletics Club enjoyed a successful day in the local Beachy Head Marathon.
16 runners from the club took part in the event, with some competing in a marathon for the first time.
Rob Chrystie completed the challenge first for the Harriers, finishing 103rd in a time of 3hours 59 minutes 51 seconds, an impressive feat in a race featuring over 1500 runners.
Dave Coulson arrived not too long after in 120th place in 4h01m47s, while Sue Cooper was first home for the ladies in an impressive 320th place after clocking a time of 4h32m59s.
The event was won by Rob Harley, who is a lecturer at the University of Brighton, in a time of 3h9m51s 3 hours, 9 minutes and 51 seconds.
