Eastbourne Rugby club continued their winning start to the season with an emphatic 72-0 victory against Newick at Park Avenue.
The Blue and Golds completely dominated all areas of the pitch in their first home match of the Sussex Spitfire One 2012-13 campaign.
The convincing win followed up last weekend’s opening day victory at Lewes II.
Luke Turner was man of the match for Eastbourne while James Coultard was also at his best.
Coultard was the creator of numerous home tires which were scored by Adam Tennant and Tom Redmond.
Eastbourne chairman Fraser Brooks said, “I am so proud of the players today. A lot of the work we have done on the training ground really paid off today.
“It was a great performance and I’m delighted for the spectators.”
