Young table tennis brothers Jack and Josh Bennett (pictured above) will compete at the K2 Crawley this weekend in the Sussex County Table Tennis Association annual cadet/junior four star competition.
The event is part of the association’s Olympic strategy and is hoped to inspire the next generation of players.
The tournament has attracted 222 entries from all over UK and Ireland and includes many of the most talented players in the country, including rising star Tin Tin Ho the 13-year-old from Middlesex who won last year’s cadet French and Portuguese open competitions. Ho has been selected to represent Europe in the world cadet challenge later this year. He is currently ranked 23 in the world at under 15 age category. Local stars Jack and Josh will compete for major honours in their respective events, with Jack rated 11 in the juniors and Josh 11 in the cadets Nationally.
The competition is free to view for spectators who are most welcome to come and watch the amazing skills of these young players.
