The youth football club were founded in July 2012 by Darren Bland and Jon Wheeler and began with just four players.

Thanks to the help and support of the local community and businesses the club cater for more than 100 children and have 21 volunteers.

The club plan to continue their growth but to do that they will need to find a permanent home for their football and training.

The club thanked: Stone Cross Nurseries, OBC The Accountants based in Upperton Gardens, Eastbourne, Sussex Fireplace Gallery based in Chaucer Business Park, Polegate, Spillane Plant Services based in Gildredge Road, Eastbourne, M.W. Pyle Roofing based in East Dean and finally Families Fostering based in Laughton.

Chairman Darren Bland said, “Without their support there is no way we would have been able to acheive what we have done over the last two-and-a-half years.

“It has helped provide training kits, facilities to play our matches and training equipment. This has not only allowed them to learn to play football but also helped them to develop other skills as individuals and have great fun along the way.”
