Eastbourne United AFC suffered a third consecutive postponment after Wednesday’s fixture at Bexhill United fell victim to a waterlogged pitch.
United, who last played on Saturday, December 15 when they defeated Oakwood 7-1 at The Oval, also saw the games over the festive period with Little Common and Westfield called off due to the recent heavy rainfall.
Weather permitting, Paul Daubeney’s promotion chasers will next be in action on Saturday (tomorrow) when they travel to Storrington in the fixture that was originally scheduled for November 24, but again fell victim to the elements.
United are currently fourth in division two on 33 points from their opening 15 games. They are six points behind leaders Newhaven but have a crucial two games in hand.
Storrington are fifth from bottom in the table. Kick-off at Storrington Rec is 3pm.
