Hailsham Town face Hassocks for the second-time in just over a month, and will hope a defensive mindset will pay dividends in securing a win.

They lost 2-1 when the sides met in late September, but manager Kenny McCreadie is hoping to make home advantage count .

“Hassocks are a very strong side going forward and we can’t give them any room. It’s always a hard game against them but I’m confident we can beat them on our turf,” he said.

After last week’s washout at Shoreham, McCreadie had no fresh injuries, and should have a strong squad to pick for the match.

He said, “I gave the lads last night off, and with our match being cancelled last week we should be fresh and ready to go”.

Hailsham are fourth from bottom in the League.
