Top scorer Danny Leach will be back in the Hailsham Town squad for their Charity Cup round three match on tomorrow (Saturday).
The striker has been in fantastic form for the Stringers this season, having scored 25 goals in all competitions, and will return from injury to face division one side Three Bridges.
Also returning from a layoff is midfielder Jamie Salvidge, and Town boss Kenny McCreadie is pleased he has an injury-free side to choose from.
He said, “We have a fully fit squad, which is a bonus, and it’s great to have Danny Leach back. Three Bridges will be thinking about him - they’’ll be really worried about him.”
This is the Stringers second consecutive game against higher-level opposition, after they suffered an extra-time defeat to Redhill in the John O’Hara League Cup last Saturday. But McCreadie knows that Hailsham have more than enough to match Three Bridges.
He said, “They’re a first division side but we managed to draw at Redhill in normal time, so I don’t see why we can’t go one better on Saturday. All the boys are looking forward to it.”
