Eastbourne United will travel to Dorking Wanderers in the FA Vase tomorrow (Saturday) full of confidence after a flying start to their season.
Paul Daubeney’s side remain unbeaten so far this season and are second in the County League division two table after four matches.
Newhaven, who United thrashed 5-1 last Saturday, are two points above them in top spot but have played an extra match.
United have impressed in front of goal with striker Liam Baitup and Peter Cooper forming a lethal partnership. Baitup has already hit the net 10 times with Cooper chipping in with four so far. United have scored 17 times from just four league matches.
Dorking will provide a stern test for Daubeney’s highflyers. They sit mid table in division one of the Sussex County League with an even record of won two, drawn two and lost two from their opening six games.
United’s next league match will be at Broadbridge Heath on Saturday, September 8.
