Eastbourne Borough boss Garry Wilson admits he is still unsure on the scale of the rebuilding job that awaits him as he prepares for the Blue Square South next season.
The football season may have ended but there will be precious little time for Wilson to put his feet up in close season.
Negotiations with the players are set to take place after the end of season presentation evening this Friday.
Wilson insists he will not discuss next season with the players until then.
He said, “It’s nice to have a few drinks and get the presentation evening out of the way and then we can look ahead.
“At this stage we do not know how much we will have to rebuild.
“There are players we want to keep but they have to be realistic in their expectations. We have just been relegated and our budget will reflect that.
“Some players will want to stay and I’m sure some players will get offers elsewhere. Some will want to stay at this level (Blue Square Premier) if they can.
“There is a lot to discuss and decide but we will go through it with the players and see where it takes us.”
