Eastbourne Borough’s troubles in front of their home fans continued at Priory Lane on Saturday against Weston Super Mare.
The visitors took maximum points thanks to a first half goal from Chris Young after Charlton Ahtlietic loanee keeper Conor Gough spilt Dale Grubb’s tame effort.
Boro’ lacked ideas and struggled to create chances against a well organised Weston outfit.
After the break Grubb made it 2-0 when his 62 minute cross eluded everyone and went into the net off the far post.
Simon Johnson pulled back a late goal in injury time with a lovely freekick but Weston were good value for their victory.
Boss Garry Wilson said, “The players looked really up for it before the match but they didn’t deliver. I’m absolutely gutted by that performance.”
