Tommy Widdrington described Bailo Camara as a ‘raw talent’ and encouraged the Guinea-Bissau native to hang around and fight for a first team place. The attack minded player had been linked with a move away from Priory Lane with Eastbourne Town and Hastings United both keen to swoop for the striker. Camara made his first league start of the season at Boreham Wood and Widdrington said, “We wanted to give him a run to see what he could do.
“He is a raw talent and I told him it might be worth his while hanging around. We have had some interest from other clubs and clubs at a higher level than Eastbourne and Hastings.
“He is not fully match fit as yet but I would like to see him fight for his place.”
