Eastbourne Borough manager Tommy Widdrington insists he is happy how his squad is shaping up for next season.
The Borough boss has been keen to get business completed as early as possible to give his men every chance of a flying start to the 2015-16 campaign.
Borough already have 13 players signed and two more are expected to put pen to paper this week.
Widdrington said, “In an ideal world you want the bulk of your playing squad signed early doors.
“It allows for a decent preseason and gives you a chance to work with the players. I’m pretty happy where we are at to be honest. There is always going to be a few coming s and goings this time of year and I’m certainly hoping to bring a couple more in.
“We are not throwing money around. We run a tight ship but hopefully we will be in a position to act if we need to.”
Widdrington also expressed his delight at the appointment of new academy boss Shaun North.
“Shaun was involved in the training when we went on the good run towards the end of last season. He’s a great guy and I’m looking forward to working with him some more.”
