Impressive defender Alex Lacey has left Eastbourne Borough after Luton Town recalled him on 24 hours notice.
The young defender has been on loan at the Sports from the Conference National side but was called back by his parent club yesterday.
Lacey arrived at Priory Lane in February on a month-long loan, but this was later extended to the end of the season after he enjoyed a regular place in the starting line-up.
He netted in Borough’s victory over Woking last month and opened the scoring again last weekend as the side saw off Hampton and Richmond Borough.
Lacey made 13 appearances and forged a sound central defensive partnership with Ollie Rowe.
