Highflying King’s Lynn seek upset

Despite sitting two tiers below Eastbourne Borough in the football league standings, Kings Lynn will not be as easy match for Tommy Widdrington’s men.

The Linnets are currently flying in the Evo-Stik Division One South, sitting second in the table after 10 wins from 14, as well as netting an astounding 14 goals in their last three outings.

Kings Lynn average crowds of 600 at the Walks Stadium, with a season record gate of 1,150 when they played league-leaders Coalville in early October.

They will host Borough as firm underdogs but hoping to cause an upset that will see them book a place in the first round proper.
