Eastbourne Borough have added a goalkeeper to their roster for the 2013/14 season after Craig Ross has agreed a deal to return to Priory Lane on a permanent basis.
The former Cambridge United shot-stopper joined the Sports on loan during November and December of last year, helping the team to three wins and one draw during his stay before being recalled by his parent club.
However, his release during the close season allowed Tommy Widdrington to snatch the young ‘keeper and make him the permanent replacement for the departing Danny Potter.
The Borough boss said, “I am absolutely over the moon that I have agreed a deal which will see Craig Ross join the Sports as our custodian for the 2013-14 season.
“We have fought off offers from both the Conference Premier and League Two.”
