While two have departed Priory Lane this week, another two have arrived in the shape of midfielder Josh Hare and striker Nathan Nyalfi.
The pair both joined Eastbourne Borough on loan from League One club Gillingham and were thrust straight into the starting line-up for the Sports’ Sussex Senior Cup match with Bognor Regis Town on Tuesday night.
Youngster Hare signed a one-year professional contract with the Gills in November but has yet to make a first-team appearance.
Nyafli, 20, can play in right midfield or as a conventional striker and has spent most of his career to date flitting between Gillingham and Ryman League Division One South outfit Whitstable Town.
Borough manager Tommy Widdrington said of the pair, “They’re very fit and hard-working. They’ve come from a club with a different mentality playing at the top of the division and that filters through the club.
“They’re very intense in their training and hopefully their performances here will be similar to those that they had at Gillingham.”
